Gianluca from up there made sure he came back

Vialli’s jersey that disappeared in Cremona returned: “Gianluca from up there made sure he came back”

The black and white jersey kept in a trattoria in Livrasco and disappeared last week was found on the street.
Gianluca Vialli’s jersey that had disappeared in recent days from a tavern in Livrasco, in the province of Cremona, has returned to its place. In September 2022, Gianluca Vialli was a guest at lunch at the trattoria Franca e Luciano, a regular destination for players, coaches and football managers from Cremonese and beyond since the Seventies. He had autographed a Juventus number 9 shirt that was part of the collection of Corrado Venturini, manager of the club together with his sister Roberta, the owner.

DISAPPEARED

Last Thursday the shirt disappeared, and the tam began on social media to find the heirloom: “Gianluca used to come to us since he was a kid, when he played for Cremonese and passed with his teammates for team dinners or lunches between one training session and another – Venturini had said -. That shirt was everything to me, he gave it to me when he was playing for Juventus.”

Until the happy ending, with the discovery of the heirloom abandoned on the street and the return of the black and white shirt: “Our happiness and that of the Vialli family joins that of the whole of Cremona – said the owners of the restaurant -. In these days we felt not a single local in a small village but welcomed in a special and warm embrace that could not lead to anything other than to win good over evil. A special thank you to Gianluca who guided us from up there and made sure that his jersey returned to where it belongs.”
