Setback for Aguirre: Darder injured

With a fibrillar rupture, the Mallorcan could be off for a month. He was injured during the match against Valencia last Saturday at Son Moix

Real Mallorca midfielder Sergi Darder suffers a fibrillar rupture in the femoral biceps of his left leg, an injury that occurred during his team’s match against Valencia on Saturday at Son Moix.

Although the doctors do not want to venture a date for his return to competition, Artà could be a month out of activity.

The Mallorcan player was removed from the field in the 74th minute of the match against Valencia and was replaced by Manu Morlanes. Darder’s gesture of pain has already caused concern in the medical services of Real Mallorca. Diagnostic tests have revealed fiber breakage. The league break next weekend will benefit Darder who, in some way, will ‘gain time’ for his recovery.
